Mega City implemented ‘sustainable irrigation project’ in the second half of RY22-23 where irrigation facility was created for 70 farmers covering 50 acres of land investing Tk. 150,000/- and first year running cost Tk.30,000/-. Farmers will run this independently in future years. District Governor Nominee, RID 3283, Mohammad Shahidul Bari formally inaugurated the project.

Club supported ‘Sonamoni Nibash, an Abandoned Children Home at Azimpur Dhaka under the Ministry of Social Welfare GoB since 2018. RCDMC provides monthly salary for nursing staff for the infants. Also -provides food, milk-powder, diaper, toys etc. for the kids round the year.
We continued our steadfast support for education, ensuring that underprivileged students have access to quality education. This included supporting underprivileged children’s education by providing SSC exam fees/tuition fees, donating books for students/libraries, sponsoring scholarships, supplying essential school materials etc. RCDMC donated 30 Laptops at different schools at Lakshmipur, Dhaka and Manikganj. ‘Siemens Energy Bangladesh Ltd.’ donated the laptops, whereas Dhaka Mega City identified the requirement and supported execution of the project.
- Four Laptops were donated to Bashikpur Mohila Madrasa at Lakshmipur
- Four Laptops were donated to Dattapara High School at Lakshmipur.
- Twelve Laptops were donated at different schools/collage of RCC village Taluknagar, Manikgonj.
- Ten Laptops were donated to Awareness 360, a non-governmental development organization for their volunteers.
Sadek Jobeda RCC Center at Taluknagar: RCDMC took an initiative to develop an RCC center at RCC village Taluknagar Manikgonj. The center will be constructed gradually over the next few years. Foundation stone of the center was laid in RY22-23 by District Governor Nominee, RID 3283, Mohammad Shahidul Bari. RCC center will consist of (a) A Community Clinic (b) Library (c) Recreation Center cum Indoor Games (d) RCC Center Office etc. Rtn PP Abdus Salm Khan donated the land for RCC Center. Funds will be raised gradually for this project.
